Monday afternoon around 5:15, Paris Police responded to an intoxicated driver in the 1200-block of Lamar Ave. Officers arrested Christopher Bolton, 57, for DWI. Due to previous convictions, they enhanced Bolton’s charge to a felony offense.
Officer made a security check in the 500-block of NW Loop 286 Monday morning. Reportedly items were inside a trailer of a commercial motor vehicle that appeared to be evidence of persons transported inside. Police found no persons in the truck.
A person called in a fraud complaint Monday afternoon. Reportedly an unknown suspect had used the complainant’s identifying information to open a service account in the 1500-block of Margaret Street. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers worked a burglary in the 300-block of Stone Ave. Monday evening. A known suspect forced entry into the complainant’s residence and assaulted them by hitting the complainant in the face. The suspect allegedly took items from the apartment and fled. The investigation is ongoing.
