Paris Police Report For Tuesday, August 20

Officers worked a burglary of a habitation on Monday in the 1400 block of W. Washington. The victim noticed several days ago that someone had entered her residence through a window. The victim noticed that she had some cash missing from her purse and assumed the perpetrator was a family member. On the reporting date, her financial institution said they had deactivated her debit card account due to suspicious activity. The suspect had drawn money from her account through a “Cash Application.” The victim recognized the name on the cash app account as a family member. The victim wished to file charges. The investigation of the burglary will continue.

Officers made 17 traffic stops, arrested six adults, and answered 104 calls on Monday, August 19.
