Paris Police Report for Tuesday June 27

 

Paris police responded to a welfare concern in the 400 block of NW 14th and made contact with 42-year-old Juan Smith who was allegedly intoxicated and in possession of a debit card that had been reported stolen in a motor vehicle burglary. He was arrested for fraudulent use/possession of identifying information and a misdemeanor.

Officers made contact with 46-year-old William Brown after a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Lamar Ave. He was found to be in possession of small amounts of marijuana, methamphetamine, and Xanax and was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and two misdemeanors.

While investigating a report of a suspicious person in the 300 block of SW 5th, Paris Police made contact with 36-year-old Doyle Coburn. He and the other people he was with fit the description of the persons involved in that undisclosed incident. HE was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

Paris Police are investigating the burglary of a residence in the 700 block of East Price. Officers were told that an unknown suspect entered the residence and took a television. Another burglary is under investigation after someone broke into a residence in the 1400 block of Neathery and stole an air conditioner and a TV.
