Paris Police Report for Tuesday June 6th

 

Officers were dispatched to the parole office to serve an arrest warrant. 50-year-old Gregory Williams was arrested for violating his parole. 27-year-ld  Deanna Bernard was taken into custody in the 300 block of SW 7th on a warrant for a parole violation.

Officers responded to the 3300 block of NE Loop 286 in Paris to conduct a security check. Officers made contact with 31-year-old  Cory Farrell,  who ran from officers and resisted arrest when he was captured.  He was wanted on two Van Zandt County warrants, one for assault family violence and the other a misdemeanor. Farrell was also charged with four other unrelated misdemeanors.

Officers responded to the Lamar County probation office and served an arrest warrant on 21-year-old Kenya Wise. She was arrested for violating her probation. 33-year-old Edward Holland was arrested after a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Lamar Ave and arrested on an Upshur County warrant for violating his probation.

Paris police responded to the 900 block of Van Zandt after receiving a report of a man with a gun who had pointed it at another person and threatened the complainant’s life. Officers were then told that the complainant had allegedly attempted to run over the second subject and that’s when the second subject pulled out a handgun to defend himself. No shots were fired and the investigation is continuing.

Officers responded to a building in the 200 block of Pine Bluff in Paris and were told that an unknown suspect had entered the building and taken numerous pieces of furniture.  There were no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Bonham after receiving a complaint that a man had exposed himself to two women and a girl at that location. The investigation is ongoing.
