Paris Police Report For Tuesday (Mar 13)

An 18-year-old Paris man reported that someone robbed him while setting in a parking lot waiting for a friend. It was in the 2200-block of E Price around 11:48 Monday night. The suspect opened the back door and demanded his wallet while pointing a gun at him. He complied, and the suspect ran off. The victim described the offender as a tall, slender male wearing a flat-brimmed cap, and a black hoodie. The investigation is ongoing.

Paris Police assisted EMS in the 3800-block of Lamar Ave Monday morning after 9:00. Officers observed a male that was asleep behind the steering wheel of a vehicle. The vehicle had a strong odor of marijuana. Police located numerous small baggies of marijuana inside and arrested Justin Drake Kresen, 20, of Paris. Kresen also had possession of a controlled substance and marijuana on his person.  He is in Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 91 calls for service and arrested seven people on Monday (Mar 12).
