Paris Police Report For Tuesday (Mar 20)

Amanda Dockery

Monday afternoon at 2:17, Paris Police responded to the probation office in regards to a warrant and arrested Amanda Dockery, 27. Lamar County wanted Dockery for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.

Wenoca Stewart

Officers arrested Wenoca Stewart, 45, on Lamar County outstanding warrants for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and motion to revoke probation.

Joshua Watkins

Monday night before 9:00 officers responded to the 300-block of SW 16th for a disturbance. Reportedly Joshua Watkins, 23, had assaulted a family member by throwing items which struck the family member. Allegedly Watkins pointed a firearm at another family member. Police arrested Watkins for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor charge.

A person informed Paris Police Department that a known person allegedly sexually assaulted a 17-year-old. They filed the report Monday morning. The investigation is ongoing.

Police worked a burglary in the 1300-block of E. Sherman around 3:00 pm Monday. An unknown suspect had entered the residence and took numerous items including a game console and a laptop.

Paris Police responded to 99 calls for service and arrested eight people over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am Tuesday (Mar 20).
