Paris Police Report for Tuesday March 7th



Paris Police arrested 22 year old  Anne-Marie Eakles  in the 1400 block of S Church. She was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Paris Police responded to Paris Regional Medical Center in regards to a gunshot victim who was allegedly shot in the George Wright Homes area. Officers were told that the victim had been wounded in the leg during an attempted robbery. No suspects have been identified.

Paris Police responded to a shooting which  reportedly occurred in the 600 block of E Hickory. Officers were told that an unknown suspect had fired shots at the victim as the victim walked down the road. There were no injuries and the investigation is ongoing.

Paris Police are investigating a report of sexual assault of a child. Officers were told that a child under the age of 17 had been sexually assaulted by an man between 5 and 6 years ago. The investigation is continuing.

Paris Police responded to the 1400 block of NE 27th in regards to a disturbance. Officers were told that a known male had assaulted a woman while allegedly brandishing a handgun. The investigation is ongoing.
