Paris Police Report For Tuesday (May 15)

Monday morning Paris Police worked a disturbance in the 900-block of SE 13th. They arrested Andrew Garza, 42, on two outstanding warrants out of Lamar County.

Monday afternoon around 4:45 officers arrested Angel Reaves, 30, on an outstanding parole warrant at the Parole Office.

Police received a report that alleged adults were using methamphetamine that resulted in a child testing positive. Officers completed that report on child endangerment. The investigation is ongoing.

Someone reported a fraud complaint in the 3000-block of Clarksville. Allegedly they located a counterfeit $20 bill in the business’ deposit. Officers learned that an unknown suspect had passed the bill during a transaction at some point between Friday and Saturday. The investigation is ongoing.

An unknown black male passed a $100 counterfeit bill during a transaction just before 6:00 Tuesday morning in the 2600-block of Lamar Ave.

Paris Police responded to 101 calls for service and arrested nine people over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am (May 15).
