Paris Police Report For Tuesday (May 22)

Monday morning after 6:00, Paris Police responded to a sexual assault complaint. Reportedly an unknown suspect had assaulted and sexually assaulted the complainant. Marcus Hawkins, 33, was identified as a person of interest after he later used the victim’s ATM card. Officers located Hawkins in the 100-block of Pine Bluff and detained him. They arrested Hawkins after a judge issued an arrest warrant for sexual assault. The investigation is ongoing.

Paris Police responded to 113 calls for service and arrested nine people over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am Tuesday (May 22).
