On Monday, officers received a report of a Burglary in the 500 block of SE 6th St. The reporting person advised that they had left the residence on September 6 and that everything was in good order. When they returned on Monday the 9th, they found that someone had broken the back door to the residence and that numerous items, including television sets, gaming consoles and controls, and liquor, were missing. The investigation will proceed.
Paris Police Officers recovered a stolen vehicle on Monday out of University Park, Texas, in the 300 block of Stone Avenue. The University Park Police Department notified Paris that the car was possibly at that location. Officers responded to the scene and located the 2016 Kia in the parking lot of an apartment complex at that location. They towed the vehicle to a storage facility. University Park Police Department will be continuing the investigation.
For this reporting period, officers made nine traffic stops, no adult arrests, and answered 92 calls for service.
