Paris Police Report for Wednesday August 16

Police responded to the Lamar County probation office and made contact with 35-year-old Ashley Stephens. She was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a motion to revoke her probation for possession of a controlled substance.

Officers responded to the 500 block of E Price in Paris to serve an arrest warrant. Ashley Lollar-Sims, 35, was taken into custody an outstanding warrant for violating the parole she was on.

Paris Police was dispatched to the 1200 block of NE Loop 286 to investigate a fraud complaint. Officers were told that a person had attempted to pass a counterfeit $50 bill. The subject had received the bogus bill during a transaction at another location.
