Paris Police Report For Wednesday (Dec 19)

Linda Sayra Godinez

Tuesday, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no license plates in the 300-block of SW 7th and made contact with Linda Sayra Godinez. Officers smelled the odor of narcotics, and a subsequent search revealed a small quantity of marijuana. A warrant check showed that Godinez also had an outstanding warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was arrested without incident, booked and transported to Lamar County Jail.

Jeffrey Haley

Officers Were dispatched to the 500-block of SE 8th about a disturbance. Reportedly, Jeffrey Haley, at the location, had been previously given a Criminal Trespass warning forbidding him to return to a business address near the area. He was arrested for Criminal Trespassing and transported to Lamar County Jail

Officers were dispatched to the 200-block of NE 10th in regards to a Burglary of Residence. An individual was remodeling his home and was storing vehicle parts there. Three subjects were recorded coming to the scene and removing the items from the residence. The entry was forced.

Several officers responded to the area of 12th SE and Cedar in regards to numerous calls of shots fired. Officers investigated the incident and collected multiple shell casings. The investigation will continue.

Paris Police responded to 132 Calls for service and made seven arrests on Tuesday (Dec 18).
