Paris Police Report For Wednesday (Dec 26)

Last Saturday, Paris Officers arrested James Glen Cline, 33, of Paris, on a bond surrender warrant for possession.

Officers pulled over a vehicle Saturday for driving without headlights. An argument ensued, and the suspect fled the scene when told he was under arrest. An off-duty peace officer was aware of the pursuit and blocked the vehicle as it stopped. Other units arrived on the scene.  As officers ordered the suspect again to get out of his car the suspect fought them and attempted to flee striking the officer’s personal vehicle. He drove into a citizen’s car, hit a utility pole, and a police unit. This occurred in the 100-block of Collegiate. They finally arrested Zill Sanders, 35, of Paris, with a load of charges.

Allison Crouch

On Christmas Eve, officers arrested Allison Crouch, 48, of Paris for possession of a controlled substance PG 1.

Three people were arrest on misdemeanor driving while intoxicated charges during the reporting period.

Officers responded to 11 family disturbances over the reporting period.

Officers investigated two reports of fraud, two deceased persons by natural causes, two suicide attempts resulting in two emergency detentions and six assaults.
