Paris Police Report for Wednesday March 22nd




Paris Police responded to the adult probation office in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with 26 year old  Keyvon Robinson , who was wanted on an outstanding Lamar County warrant for burglary of a habitation and a warrant out of Brazoria County for violation of conditional release/unlawful restraint while in custody.


Paris Police responded to a criminal trespassing complaint in the 400 block of SW 18th  and made contact with 36 year old  Curtis Thompson . He had previously been issued a criminal trespass warning from the resident, who feared for her safety. Thompson was arrested for stalking and trespassing.

Paris Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from the 800 block of NW 13th. A black and silver moped was stolen from under the car port during the night.

Paris Police responded to the 2500 block of N Main in regards to the theft of a  2015 Jeep Compass. The vehicle was later returned by a suspect known to the complaint.  He fled on foot prior to officers arriving back at the scene.

Paris Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in the 800 block of Hickory. Officers were told that the complainant and a witness had stopped at a stop sign and two black males approached the vehicle,  demanded money and then grabbed the complainant’s purse. During a brief struggle over the purse the victim was struck in the eye. The suspects took the purse but dropped it as they fled. The purse was recovered prior to police notification.

Paris Police responded to the 500 block of Deshong Drive in regards to a burglary of a residence. Officers were told that a possible known suspect had entered the complainant’s home and taken  a credit card The card was later used by the suspect, who remains at large.

Paris Police  are investigating a residential  burglary in the 3700 block of Village Bend. Someone broke into the residence and took numerous items including jewelry, a 9mm handgun, and a computer tablet.
