Paris Police Report For Wednesday (May 23)

Tuesday just before 4:30, Paris Police worked a fraud complaint in the 1300-block of Clarksville. Officers arrested Lindsay Goff, 40, who allegedly attempted to pick up prescriptions that she knew someone had called in fraudulently.

Just after 9:00 Tuesday night officers responded to a theft complaint in the 3500-block of Lamar Ave. Police arrested Mallory Wright, 27, who reportedly took merchandise from the store. They found the items in Wright’s possession along with an outstanding motion to revoke probation warrant out of Rockwall County.

Paris Police worked an allegation of a sexual assault. Allegedly a known suspect had sexually assaulted the complainant. The investigation is ongoing.

Police worked a burglary in the 700-block of SE 19th. A possible known suspect had entered the victim’s residence and took numerous items including a microwave and toaster oven.

Paris Police responded to 79 calls for service and arrested four persons over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am Wednesday (May 23).
