Paris Police Report for Wednesday May 31st

 

Officers are investigating a robbery that occurred in the 1300 block of Clarksville. An unidentified suspect had left the store without paying for several cases of beer and when an employee confronted the suspect, he jumped into a vehicle and ran over the store employee while backing up. The employee was not seriously injured.  The suspect fled the scene in a white Chevy pickup.

Paris police  executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of Fitzhugh and arrested 23 year old Nizhoni Martinez for possession of approximately one pound of synthetic marijuana. She was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and endangering a child, because two small children were in the residence.

Paris police made contact with  24 year old Donavon Archuleta  in the 7200 block of Highway 82 W  during a traffic stop. Archuleta was arrested for possession of  more than 4oz but less than 5lbs of marijuana.

Officers responded to the 600 Block of NW 4th in Paris to answer a criminal trespassing complaint. 64 year old  Nathaniel Thomas  who  arrested on an outstanding warrant for assault family violence by impeding breathing.

Paris police were called to a disturbance in the 1100 block of SE 6th and made contact with 42 year old  George Bearden, who was wanted on outstanding felony warrant for criminal mischief and a misdemeanor. He was arrested on the warrants, and another charge.

Paris police were dispatched to George Wright Homes to serve an arrest warrant. They made contact with 27 year old Charles Spradling and arrested him for violation of his parole.

Paris police were called to the water billing office to investigate a forgery complaint. Officers say a woman had attempted to pay a water bill with a counterfeit $100 bill. The woman was interviewed by the officers and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers responded to the burglary of a business in the 1600 block of NE Loop 286. Officers were told that an unknown suspect had cut a hole in a fence and had taken an 8 foot trailer.

On 05-28-2017 at 11:20 P.M. Officers responded to a theft complaint  that allegedly happened in the 500 block of Deshong Drive. Officers were told that a known suspect had stolen numerous items including a computer and several pairs of sunglasses. In another burglary, suspect entered the complainants garage and stole numerous items including cordless drill, toolbox, and car stereos. Thieves broke into a residence in the 3000 block of Carson lane and stole two televisions.

Officers responded to a criminal mischief  incident and learned that a known suspect had damaged a person’s vehicle with a metal object. The investigation is continuing.
