Paris Police Report For Wednesday Morning

Monday afternoon before 1:30 Paris Police arrested Rocoria Moten, 26, after a traffic stop in the 3800 block of Lamar Ave. They found Moten had an outstanding warrant out of Harris County for criminal nonsupport.

Rickey Dotson

Tuesday morning before 10:00 officers responded to the 600 block of E Hearon in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers observed Rickey Dotson, 42, run to the back of the residence while attempting to conceal something in his hands. That turned out to be a small amount of methamphetamine. Dotson was placed under arrest and charged with the bond surrender warrant, possession of a controlled substance, and evading arrest.

Tuesday morning at 9:45 officers responded to the 700 block of S Church in regards to a criminal mischief complaint. Reportedly an unknown suspect had driven an unknown type of vehicle into the complainant’s fence causing substantial damage.

Jimmy Seat, Jr.

Wednesday morning after 3:30 police responded to the 400 block of SE 24th in regards to a disturbance. Allegedly Jimmy Seat Jr., 42, assaulted his girlfriend by hitting her repeatedly with numerous objects. Officers arrested Seat for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Paramedics transported the victim to the local hospital.

Tuesday afternoon around 4:00 officers responded to the 4100 block of Pine Mill Road in regards to an unauthorized use of a vehicle. A known suspect had taken the complainant’s Toyota Camry and refused to return it.

Paris Police responded to 291 calls for service and arrested 15 people over the past 48 hours ending at 6:00 am Wednesday (Jul 5).
