Officers arrested Devin Demontre Neal, 29, Tuesday, on an outstanding Parole Warrant after contacting him on an unrelated call in the 600 block of SW 7th. They took Neal into custody without incident.

On Tuesday, a moving vehicular disturbance started on East Cherry St., possibly heading toward the police department. The victim said her boyfriend was chasing her. He was Domienek Antwar Reed, 34,. During the incident, Reed had intentionally struck the victim’s vehicle with the one he was driving, as well as taking off the door handle, breaking the driver’s side window, and then assaulted the victim with his fist. Reed had left the scene, and officers located him on the 800 block of NE 7th. They arrested him on several outstanding warrants, including a Harassment from January 2024 and a Terroristic Threat and Criminal Trespassing offense from February 2024. These warrants resulted from crimes committed against a different victim, an outstanding Parole Violation Warrant, and municipal traffic warrants. Officers also charged Reed for the crimes committed in this incident, including two counts of Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, one against a family member. They processed Reed without incident.

Officers arrested Jaymie Leighman Seat, 29, on Tuesday after responding to a disturbance in the 600 block of SW 7th. A family member reported that he had been struck in the head and hand by Seat with a glass lamp globe. The assault had resulted in cuts to the victim’s face and hand. The victim produced a phone video of the assault. Seat was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

On Tuesday, officers received a report of a Burglary of a Residence in the 1300 block of East Sherman St. The victims stated that known suspects had entered the residence and taken several items, which they had transported to 750 Bonham St. The officers met with the victims and suspects at the Bonham St. address. The suspects said they had taken items outside the victim’s residence but believed them to be trash. They returned the property, and an investigation will continue.
For this reporting period, officers made 24 traffic stops, arrested five adults, and answered 86 calls for service.
