Paris Police Report for Wednesday Sept. 21

Paris Police made contact with 50 year old Kenneth Young during a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Bonham and discovered he was in possession of a small baggie containing methamphetamine as well as a small amount of marijuana. Young was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and a misdemeanor warrant.

Paris Police responded to a burglary complaint in the 900 block of Cedar. Officers were told that while the resident was away, someone forced entry into the home and took a stereo. The investigation is continuing.

 Paris police are continuing their search for the man who attempted to steal a TV from the Walmart in Paris. The suspect was last seen getting into a white pickup with unknown Oklahoma tags and leaving the scene. Call the Paris PD at 903-754-6688 if you have any information.
