Paris Police Report Friday (Jan 15)

Detectives with the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant on a residence in the 1100-block of Grove St Thursday afternoon at 12:36. They used the search warrant to locate Fredricus Lee Treal Reed, 29. He had two outstanding felony warrants charging him with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance of more than one gram but less than four and two felony warrants charging him with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance of more than four grams less than 200.

Once inside the residence, Reed was located and placed under arrest. Detectives observed a large amount of marijuana on the living room coffee table. They also uncovered approximately 6 lbs 9oz of marijuana (street value of $37,000), 377 grams of ecstasy (approximately 2,000 pills with a street value of $13,000), 4.5 grams of Oxycodone, approximately $15,000 cash, and three handguns; one reported as stolen. They also located Brittany Denis Patterson, 30, of Paris.

Officers charged Reed and Patterson with Manufacture Delivery CS PG2 or 2A >=4G<400G, Possession of Marijuana >5lbs<=50lbs, Manufacture Delivery CS PG 1 >=4g<200G, and Theft of a Firearm. Reed was additionally charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm due to a prior felony conviction in 2018. Both are in Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 76 calls for service and arrested three people on Thursday (Jan 14).
