Paris Police Report Friday (Oct 23)

Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the George Wright Homes area at 3:30 Thursday afternoon for displaying a stolen license plate. They arrested the driver, Lauren Rhea Samuel, 33, of Powderly, and charged her with the traffic violation. While booking Samuel, officers discovered she had possession of methamphetamine in a correctional facility. Samuel is in Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 86 calls for service and arrested four people on Thursday (Oct 22).
