Paris Police Report Monday (Feb 01)

Shane Austen Williams, Jr.

Paris Police responded to a suspicious person call in the 3300-block of Lamar Ave Friday morning at 10:01. Officers located Shane Austen Williams, Jr., 29, of Arthur City, in the 600-block of SE 33rd St. staggering in the roadway and found Williams in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Officers placed him in the city jail.

Keith Royce Ivery

Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 300-block of W. Cherry Saturday morning at 2:11 for several minor traffic violations. The driver, Keith Royce Ivery, 50, of Paris, was charged with driving while intoxicated third or more due to having several DWI convictions. They placed Ivery in Lamar County Jail.

Max Aubrey McCraw

Paris Police responded to a complaint of a possible intoxicated driver in the 4200-block of Bonham St at 5:49 Saturday afternoon. Officer eventually located the vehicle in the 3000-block of NE Loop 286 and attempted a stop in the 3800-block of Pine Mill Rd., but Max Aubrey McCraw, 40, of Reno, sped away before being stopped again in the 400-block of Pine Valley. Officers transferred McCraw to Lamar County Jail.

Timmy Ray Pate

At 8:04 Sunday night, Paris Police responded to a disturbance in the 700-block of SE 10th St. Officers found Timmy Ray Pate, 57, had an outstanding parole violation warrant. They arrested Pate and placed him in the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 189 calls for service and arrested 12 persons over the weekend ending at midnight Sunday (Jan 31).
