Paris Police Report Monday (Nov 9)

Angel Rose Millsap

At 2:41 pm on Friday, Paris Police met with Angel Rose Millsap, 17, at the Police Department about an investigation. While in the lobby, Millsap had possession of more than one gram of cocaine. Officers arrested Millsap and later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.

Talbert Dean Long

Officers arrested Talbert Dean Long, 39, of Detroit, Texas, at the Paris District Parole Office at 4:38 pm on Friday on a parole violation warrant. Police took him to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police worked on an aggravated assault in the 900-block of E. Hickory St. at 12:53 am on Saturday. The 31-year-old victim advised that her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her with his fist. He then produced a pistol and pointed it at her. The victim reported that the suspect pulled the trigger several times, but the gun never fired a bullet. The incident is under investigation.

Floria Jean Tryon

Floria Jean Tryon, 44, of Toco, was arrested at 1:19 am on Saturday in the 800-block of DeShong Dr. Officers observed Tryon causing a disturbance inside the emergency room and attempted to stop her. Tryon began assaulting the officer, and they charged her with assault on a public servant, harassment of a public servant, and resisting arrest. Tryon is in the Lamar County Jail.

Daisy Jeaneen Hernandez Miller

At 10:45 on Sunday morning, Paris Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the stop, the driver gave the officer consent to search. Officers found methamphetamine, marijuana, and synthetic marijuana. A passenger, Daisy Jeaneen Hernandez Miller, 21, of Paris, claimed ownership of the illegal substances. Miller was arrested and later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.

Police responded to 210 calls for service and arrested 14 persons over the weekend ending at midnight on Sunday (Nov 8).
