Paris Police Report Thursday (Jan 28)

Paris Police responded to a forgery in the 1900-block of NE Loop 286 at 3:52 Wednesday afternoon. The employee advised that two males were inside the bank and were attempting to cash stolen checks. Paris Police arrested Jeremy Dewayne Robinson, 41, of Lancaster, and Corey Eugene Fountain, 42, of Dallas. Officers charged both with forgery of a financial instrument. Reportedly, the two had attempted to cash the checks at a bank in Sulphur Springs earlier in the day. Police transferred them to the Lamar County Jail.

At 10:20 Wednesday night, Paris Police received a call of a driver driving on the wrong side of the road in the 500-block of NW Loop 286. Officer located the vehicle in the 3200-block of N. Main St. and attempted to stop it. The driver fled from the officers around the NE Loop and then East on Lamar Ave. The vehicle was spike stripped in the 5500-block of Lamar and eventually stopped at Reno City Hall. The driver, Arrissa Ann Hinkle, 19, of Clarksville, was arrested and charged with evading arrest or detention with a vehicle. They placed her in the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 58 calls for service and arrested four people on Wednesday (Jan 27).
