Paris Police was called to the 2200-block of Lamar Ave to investigate a suspicious person report. Officers made contact with 17-year-old Chris Brooks and arrested him on outstanding warrants for burglary of a building and unauthorized use of a vehicle. The warrants stemmed from incidents that were reported in April where a building on North Main was broken into and two vehicles were stolen from the parking lot.
Paris police conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Lamar Ave and arrested 39 year old Christina Hostetler and 40 year old Krystal Mitchell. They were allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and were charged with possession of a controlled substance.
The Paris Police Department received a report that alleged that a known suspect had sexually assaulted the complainant. The investigation is ongoing and no other details have been released.
Paris police responded to the 1900 block of Bonham after receiving a report about a man with a gun. The suspect had allegedly pointed a firearm at three people and threatened them.
