Paris Police Report Thursday (Oct 22)

Trevarrion Trevon Davis

Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 2500-block of E. Cherry Wednesday afternoon at 3:03 when they observed a child not wearing a seat belt. The officer smelled marijuana and found 21 small baggies of marijuana in the center console. They arrested the driver, Trevarrion Trevon Davis, 22, of Paris, and charged him with the delivery of marijuana of more than ¼ ounce but less than five pounds and possession of marijuana. They later transferred Davis to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police met with the victim of a forgery in the Police Department’s lobby Wednesday morning at 11:54. On Sept 22, the victim reported that they had mailed a bill using a USPS dropbox to a company out of town. When they checked their bank statement, they found that the check had been altered for a much higher amount and cashed at a business in Paris. The incident is under investigation.

Paris Police responded to 96 calls for service and arrested four people on Wednesday (Oct 21).
