Paris Police Report Thursday (Oct 29)

Paris Police responded to a welfare concern in the 2600-block of N. Main St Wednesday morning at 9:46. The caller stated that a man was in a vehicle for several hours and slumped over in the driver’s seat. Officers discovered that he was not sick or injured, but they did find methamphetamine in the vehicle. They arrested Mark Hayden Murdoch, 56, of Idabel, OK, and charged him with possession of a controlled substance. He also had numerous credit cards and checks that were in other people’s names. Officers charged Murdoch with fraud by possessing more than five items of identifying information. He is in Lamar County Jail.
