Paris Police responded to the 2100-block of E Cherry at 11:30 Monday morning. The victim reported that a known person had stolen his debit card in August and has since used it several times. The victim said that they used the card 29 times for a total of nearly $7,000.00. The incidents are under investigation.
Paris Police met with a fraud victim in the Police Department’s lobby at 3:46 Monday afternoon. The victim reported that someone had stolen checks from her residence and had forged her signature on at least two of them. The investigation continues.
Tuesday morning at 1:57, Paris Police responded to the 800-block of Fitzhugh Ave about a burglary of a residence. The victim reported that they had woken up and found an unknown male inside the home. When the victim yelled at the male, the male fled the residence through the back door. The victim reported that they must have forgotten to lock the door before going to bed. The incident is under investigation.
