Paris Police Report Wednesday (Oct 21)

Tuesday night at 11:32, Paris Police worked on a possible intoxicated driver and found the vehicle in the 2500-block of Bonham St. They observed that the swerving drive had a damaged tire. They arrested Timothy William Willhite, 21, of Roxton, on two counts of possession of a controlled substance after telling the officer that narcotics were in the vehicle. Officers located THC wax and two prescription pills that Willhite did not have a prescription to possess. They transferred Willhite to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to the 700-block of SE 6th Tuesday evening at 7:36 about an assault. The 31-year-old victim reported that a known person had strangled her and stolen her vehicle. The vehicle is a red 2007 Honda Accord. Police have not located the vehicle or suspect, and the incident is under investigation.

Paris Police responded to 80 calls for service and arrested two people on Tuesday (Oct 20).
