Paris Police Report Wednesday (Oct 7)

Terrence Trenyay Williams

Paris Police responded to a disturbance at George Wright Homes at 8:25 Tuesday afternoon. Officers located Terrence Trenyay Williams, 42, of Paris. Williams was intoxicated and had possession of a firearm. Williams was arrested and charged with unlawful carrying a weapon. The owner had reported the pistol stolen, and Williams also had control of marijuana. Officer additionally charged Williams with theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana, and failure to identify. Williams is awaiting transfer to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police spoke with a victim of a burglary of a residence in the 4600-block of Deer Haven St Tuesday afternoon at 2:07. The victim reported that the place is under construction, and someone entered the garage and stole a cookstove. While investigating this burglary, the residence owner next door also reported a burglary of their residence, which is also under construction. Someone entered their place through the front door. This victim found that the suspect(s) had stolen some interior doors. The incidents are under investigation.
