Paris Police Shooting Victim Identified

Paris Police Chief Bob Hundley identified the person who died as a result of an officer-involved shooting on January 24 as 30-year-old James Lewis Mathis, III, of Paris. The two Paris Police Officers involved in the shooting remain on administrative leave while the investigation continues by the Texas Rangers.
