Paris Traffic Stop Leads to Synthetic Marijuana Arrests

A routine traffic stop in the  2000 block of Bonham Street  by Lamar County deputies resulted in the arrest of a Paris couple on drug charges. A search the vehicle turned up 100 grams of synthetic marijuana commonly called K2 with a street value of about $1200, and Robert Dewayne Smith and Linda Gilstrap  were arrested for possession of a controlled substance. A young child asleep  in the back seat was turned over to a family member.
