Paris Woman Arrested for Leaving Child in Hot Car

Officers were flagged down in a parking lot in the 3800 block of Lamar Ave after a baby was found strapped in a car seat inside a hot vehicle. Officers were able to remove the child from the vehicle and then made contact with the mother, 28-year-old Sarah Williams. She was arrested for abandoning or endangering a child. She was also charged with three misdemeanors.
