Paris Woman Charged After Shoplifting

Paris Police responded to a shoplifting complaint Tuesday in the 1800 block of Clarksville. Officers were told that two black females had stolen items from the store and then left in a gray Nissan with paper tags. Another officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of NW 10^th. Contact was made with Mary Bailey (52 YOA female) who was found to have an outstanding felony warrant for theft of property with previous convictions. Stolen property was recovered from the vehicle and Bailey was placed under arrest and charged with a second charge of theft of property with previous convictions. Another female in the car was placed under arrest and charged with misdemeanor theft.
