Parolee Arrested After Wood County Pursuit

A man wanted for violation of his parole was captured after a high speed chase by Wood County deputies Tuesday. During the pursuit, the man rammed two Winnsboro patrol cars – one near the Dairy Queen and one near the Library.  The man fled on foot and was captured  by a Wood County deputy and  TDCJ  K-9  near Hwy 37 and FM 14 about 7 miles from Winnsboro. There were no injuries reported. The suspect, who has not been identified is being held in the Wood County jail.
