Parolee Jailed In Lamar County On Multiple Charges

Paris police stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of East Price Street after  observing the driver swerving and failing to use his turn signal at several intersections.  The driver, 37 year old Deirk John Clark was found to be wanted on a violation of parole warrant. He was also found to be in possession of several baggies that tested positive for methamphetamine and two marijuana cigarettes. A female passenger was found  in possession of syringes. Clark was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and  possession of marijuana. The woman was charged with  misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
