PCT To Present Inherit The Wind At Lamar County Courthouse This Weekend

The next performance by the Paris Community Theater will not be held on the plaza, but instead in the Lamar County Courthouse. “Inherit the Wind” is a dramatization of the “Scopes Monkey Trial,” that took place in Tennessee in 1925. It’s the story of a teacher, put on trial because he was teaching Darwin’s theory of evolution in a public school. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on this Friday through Sunday.
