Pedestrian Killed In Bowie County

Troopers responded at 3:21 Tuesday morning to a reported hit and run fatality on SH-8 in Maud.  The preliminary crash investigation determined that a pedestrian, 31-year-old  Jessica Ann Racheal, was struck by an unknown vehicle which left the scene at the intersection of US-67 and State Highway 8. She died at the scene.  The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is currently available.
