Pedestrian Struck And Killed

A van struck and killed a senior man while he was trying to cross the street. Investigators say 88-year-old Jewel Maxwell, of Texarkana, was picking up cans in the area and was attempting to get to the Central Mall. He was transported to a local hospital where he died. The investigation is continuing.
