Pentagon Open To Renaming Posts Named For Confederate Generals

First, it was Confederate monuments torn down. Now there’s a push for changes at military bases that they named after Confederate generals. That includes Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, which is after Gen. John Bell Hood. He fought at the Battle of Gettysburg for the confederacy.

The Pentagon announced this week that they are open to changing Fort Hood’s name and nine other army posts.
