Choctaw County Deputies and Choctaw Nation Tribal Police responded to a home on Copperhead Road in Sawyer Friday night and found that someone had shot a man in the face. They transported the unidentified man to a hospital in Texas in undisclosed condition, and deputies were looking for a person of interest identified as Steven Nichols. It was the second shooting in the area in as many days.
