Persons of Interest In Lamar County Double Homicide In Custody

Authorities captured the man and woman wanted for questioning connected with the deaths of two people in Northwestern Lamar County. James Henry Elrod III and Carolyn Elrod were considered persons of interest in a double homicide. They have not released the names of the man and woman killed. Texas Rangers and Lamar County detectives are continuing their investigation. They have not released details of the Elrods’ arrests.
