Pfizer Seeking Authorization For Booster Vaccine

Pfizer Pharmaceuticals is about to ask the FDA to approve the third dose of its COVID-19 vaccine. A&M-Texarkana virologist Dr. Ben Neuman says we may need it considering the spread of the Delta variant, which is being blamed for the spike in cases. He says Pfizer research shows that antibodies that attack the COVID virus rise dramatically after a third shot. Currently, only about 48% of the US population is fully vaccinated.
