Phone Scam

Lamar County is warning residents of another scam that surfaced. Someone is pretending to be from Blue Cross Blue Shield. The caller used phone numbers from New York and Canadian area codes. The caller told the victim they would cancel their insurance when the caller couldn’t obtain personal information.
