Telephone and internet service are out at P.E. Wallace Middle School due to a cut fiber cable. There is no estimate as to when service will once again be available.
“A telephone call went out to all Wallace students and their parents yesterday afternoon,” said Dr. Judith Saxton, MPISD’s Director of Communication. “In that call, we asked parents to attempt to reach someone at the school on a cellphone in case of an emergency. If they can’t reach someone, they can call the MPISD Administration Building, and we will get the message to the campus. We are sorry for this inconvenience and when restored, we will let our Wallace parents know.”
