PHS student named SkillsUSA Officer

SkillsUSA District 5 elected Paris High School SkillsUSA Ceaira Gill as District 5 officer. She is the first to be chosen from Paris High in school history. Gill is a health science student in the Career and Technical Education program.

SkillsUSA District 5 selected Gill as one of seven officers who will serve more than 1,000 SkillsUSA members. She will attend a summer leadership camp travel to Washington D.C. to advocate for Career and Technical Education. She will volunteer on community projects and promote SkillsUSA across District 5.

When asked about her plans, Gill says, “I plan to attend PVAMU to further my knowledge in health care. I would like to study kinesiology and become a physical therapist.”
