PIckton Man Charged With Assaulting Deputy

A 43-year-old Pickton man has been arrested for assaulting a Hopkins County Deputy. The deputy was assisting a woman trying to get into her home and had located an open window with keys nearby. Hollis Blaine Sartin is accused of slamming the window on the deputy’s hands. He was charged with Third-Degree Felony Assault on a Public Servant.
