Pickton Man Jailed On Drug Charge

A Pickton man was arrested after he was stopped for a traffic violation on CR2400 by a Hopkins County Deputy. The officer told 36-year-old Johnny Lee Speed to empty his pockets after the stop, and a baggie of suspected methamphetamine was found. He is in Hopkins County Jail for possession of more than one but less than four grams of a controlled substance, with bond set at $50,000.
