Pilgrims Recalls 5 Million Pounds of Cooked Chicken Products

Pilgrim’s Pride is recalling more than 5 million pounds of chicken due to an “extraneous materials” contamination. The recall affects fully cooked chicken products that may be contaminated with metal. The USDA said the chicken was produced on various dates from Dec. 3, 2015 to May 6, 2016. The recall is an expansion of a previous recall from April.
