Pit Bulls Seized At East Texas Dog Fighting Site

The seizure of 14 pit bulls from a property in Kaufman County set a record for the number of cruelty cases handled by the SPCA of Texas. The dogs were seized from a large suspected dog fighting location in Able Springs.  SPCA investigators rescued more than 600 animals in July. On average, investigators rescue around 200 per month.
